Day 1 – Travel from Missouri to Tennessee

We take a leisurely drive from Missouri to Tennessee, arriving this evening at our hotel in Clarksville, TN.

Day 2 - Falcon Rest Mansion & Gardens

On the way to Chattanooga, we stop at Falcon Rest Mansion & Garden, a Victorian-style home once used as a hospital and now filled with antiques. Before arriving at our hotel in Chattanooga, TN, we’ll visit the Lodge Cast Iron Museum.

Day 3 – Tennessee Valley Rail Road & Lookout Mountain

We start the day with a historic train ride on the Tennessee Valley Rail Road, with time to tour the museum afterward. After lunch, we’ll explore Rock City, then ride the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway. We settle in for a second night in Chattanooga, TN.

Day 4 – Ripley’s Aquarium & Sugarland Distillery

After a stop at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center, we’ll encounter sharks and sea turtles at Ripley’s Aquarium. Before arriving in Pigeon Forge, TN, we’ll visit Sugarland’s Distillery for a behind-the-scenes tour of their stillhouse.

Day 5 – Smoky Mountain National Park

We spend the morning in the world-famous Smoky Mountain National Park, with hopes of spotting wildlife. After a fun day, we return to Pigeon Forge to dress for a lively evening at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, complete with trick riding, music, and Southern flair.

Day 6 – James White Fort

We begin the trip home, stopping at James White Fort in Knoxville—the city’s birthplace, built in 1786. After the visit, we continue west and stay again in Clarksville, TN.

Day 7 – On Our Way Home

We return home this afternoon after a mix of scenic relaxation and fun. It’s been a great trip filled with laughs, memories, and the beauty of Tennessee.
